About S4000P
The ASD S4000P is a joint European specification development, where both manufacturers and customers participate, so as to establish a methodology for the development of scheduled maintenance plans and in-service maintenance optimization (ISMO). S4000P is part of the S-Series of IPS specifications, an integrated set of specifications to design and maintain the support of complex technical products for all lifecycle phases as part of an integrated engineering effort. S4000P is a set of reliability centered maintenance analysis activities for all types of complex technical products, including aviation.
S4000P has the In-Service Maintenance Optimization (ISMO) methodology to review and adjust preventive maintenance plans based on usage data. Other specifications of the S-Series are used to create the required digital thread between the digital twins.
The consistent application of S4000P provides constant product safety, law conformity, environmental integrity and meets operational requirements at maximum availability with acceptable cost. The data collection and exchange is supported by a data model and an XML-based data exchange method. The combination is unique in the world.
